"I found it hard and scary when I was first diagnosed. I started using the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Centre in Leeds. I used to go for massages – that was really nice because it was just an hour to focus on me. Even though I have cancer, I try to be as 'normal' as I've always been. I did the 'Look Good Feel Better' programme there too. The staff and volunteers have just been really nice, and it's just lovely to go up there, have a cup of tea and talk to somebody."
